YOUR HEARTBREAK CLUES

H e a r t b r e a k.

A word that immediately makes you feel and remember something or someone. If you’ve never experienced one, you’re either really young or lucky. And that’s totally ok—you’re welcome to stay and to keep reading.

Experiencing heartbreak is kind of like ordering a chocolate soufflé, that delicious dessert that gets softer and softer as you get to the ooey-gooey melting heart, only to discover…

…that there’s none. The middle is empty. Or someone else already ate it.

OUCH

Not exactly what you were expecting, right? (Or maybe you were, because you don’t fully trust anyone or anything)

A heartbreak can refer to people, situations, and dreams. Deep pain and grief that rent your heart as soon as you lose something you cared about. Whether it's a person, a dream, a place, a friendship, or a particular way of life.

Do you know what I am talking about?

Have you ever experienced something similar?

Something tells me you know and have.

TIP:

Breathe and move your fingers. Seriously, I am not kidding. Trust me. I know we’re talking about heartbreak, but I’m not here to break your heart—amongst other things, I’m also a certified yoga & yoga nidra teacher, so I care about your nervous system’s health. Trust me when I say:

Breathe and move your fingers.
You are here, now.
Welcome to the present moment.

If any of these feel true for you:

  • you’ve experienced heartbreak

  • you’re going through one

  • you’re afraid you will face one in the future

You can still recognize that at this exact moment, you are alive and breathing. This is both wonderful and hopeful. Listen, I don’t know your story…

…but I do know that you can get inspo from your heartbreak.

Yes.

Inspiration and useful information. Real clues and hints that can help you flow again, instead of staying stagnant or stuck.

I am not immune to heartbreak. I already mentioned on my about page that I am not a guru or ChatGPT. While going through heartbreaks of all sorts, I’ve:

  • written songs about them

  • reconstructed inner and outer life spaces

  • scattered in a million pieces and picked up beautiful ones I had forgotten were there

  • discovered things that light me up, even when my cup feels empty

  • reopened spacious doors that I had numbed myself/rationalized out of

  • worked on befriending all versions of myself by making each one feel seen. Even when I felt scared, ashamed, alone, and confused.

  • learned many other refreshing lessons

And I continue to learn new ones in my eclectic journey.

There are so many different channels and ways through which, as human beings, we process heartbreak.

Everyone in their own unique way. Yet often, most of us follow a similar pattern. You are not alone in dealing with your heartbreak. Yes, you are the only one who can work through it, but support is available to you, for you, around you, and inside of you.

And want to know something else?

You are not alone in experiencing it,

Most likely, conversations, comments, posts, videos, reels, books, songs, movies, and so on, helped you learn that other people in this vast world have gone through something similar.

tweak and flow is all about helping you flow and feel refreshed, so trust me when I say there is a refreshing way to view your heartbreak.

It doesn't matter whether you’ve already overcome it, you’re in the thick of it, or you feel like it’s going to happen (take a deep breath). There is something new you can learn that can help you leap forward.

Remember: wherever you are in your journey and whatever you have faced or are facing, you are here now. Still breathing and alive. And there are more chapters to add to your personal story. This is a truth that fills my heart with sweet warmth, like a chocolate soufflé’s ooey-gooey melting heart. But this time…

…it's there for real.

And that is what we explore in
